Hey all! Having trouble getting an accurate part # for a Mopar cold air intake kit for my '22 scat wide body. My Dodge guy looked hard and contacted Dodge and they have no part released yet. Contact Dodge direct connect and they're so clueless they gave me a part # for a rubber boot!
Anyone know the correct part (if available) or if the '21 Scat wide body cold air is the same part #?
TIA!

I'm not sure if you realize it or not, or maybe just want one for looks, but your car already has a cold air intake that functions better than most of the aftermarket kits. It already draws air from outside the engine bay and works great.

If youre looking for performance, get the legmaker true Cold Air or just swap a hellcat filter into it and let it eat.

Honestly I wasn't aware of that. My '19 RT I put a cold air on and wanted to do the same. It looks just like an old school big air box, you're sure of this? Thank you for your time.

I'm absolutely positive of this. The airbox draws air from the fenderwell completely isolated from the engine bay.

The only thing aftermarket cold airs do is make noise. In some cases they even lose power.

Thank you so much! Probably why Dodge doesn't have a part number lol.

You can add a Hellcat airbox snorkel which will also draw cold air from the front as well

Some owners of newer scats report having the hole, but no snorkel, the Hellcat box is larger and smooth inside vs the stock one my 16 Rt had. It fits in the same spot, but you can't get the lid off without removing it. Tighter fit against the coolant tank for sure

I gotta agree. I went down this path and there is little to no benefit going with a aftermarket intake system. I did my testing at the track so I was able to see pretty consistent numbers with one or the other. My slowest times where with the CAI system and my fastest times was with the Stock box loaded with a Hellcat filter. I always planned on getting the Hellcat lower air box and grill tube but never got around to it. I plan on getting one soon as I plan on getting back to the track.

I usually go with function over form, but I think sometimes you can have both. This is a dry paper element with cover that makes it last forever. I'm happy with this set up and like the looks as well. View attachment 305761 View attachment 305762
Nice! I thought about that but thinking getting the cold air from the outside is better. Now, if I could just figure out the intermittent stupid pirelli pzero vibration I would be a lot happier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From mile one! Thank you for posting!

Replace them with Michelins! I did and poof no vibrations.
Brother, was thinking the same thing. Tell me your pzeros did the same, intermittently too? Please! I need confirmation they're killing me! Pzeros- best, worst tires ever!

Mine were dry rotted and spun at the slightest touch of the gas pedal. I got rid of them within days of buying the car.
Oh, thought you meant vibration. Damn. They grip extremely well just annoying vibration, worse cold of course.

Vibration can be anything from balancing to alignment to tread separation.
I once drove my 65 Corvette from Omaha to Wichita with a horrible vibration. When I finally made it to Wichita I took it to a tire store that had a balancing machine that did the balancing with the wheel in place on the car by spinning it in place. That accounts for anything out of balance in the entire rotating mass for that corner of the car.

I just got a 22 SPWB. Started with 36 miles up to 330ish now. I thought they might just be getting settled in. Did y'all try pressure adjustments? Mine are at 32 psi cold and end up around 35 to 36 during my commute.
