Any clearance issues with 255 55r18 on a stock daytona charger r/t?
Thanks,
spittle
I'm running those (KDW's) on my stock Daytona 18's and the ONLY point at which there 'might' be rubbing, is in reverse on tight lock. I say 'might' because I checked the suspension arm where the tyre is close and there's no polishing.

I drove to California and back and Ohio and back - no issues.

Raced around the in-track 3-up at the California Speedway - no issues.

Multiple Auto-crossing - no issues.

I have inspected the tyres regularly and apart from the scraggy sedges sue to fast cornering, there are no areas of obvious rub.

Would I use them again...? Yes - definitely on the rears, but might drop a size (carefully - say 255/50 18s) on the front.

Will I change them before they wear out - nope - they're good as they are! :)

Well I ordered some tires and went with Nexen 245 45r18. I am real excited about them. They have a very agressive tread pattern and I got the whole set for $430 shipped. I plan on putting the air strut kit on my charger and slamming it all the way to the ground so I think these lower profile tires will do the job nicely. Thanks again for all the input.
Thanks,
spittle
