Only had the car for a week, didn't even have my plates yet.

Aside from it all, the only thing that upsets me is how long Service King is taking, they didnt total out my car instead its getting repaired. Is waiting a month for repairs too long cuz im starting to get upset about the wait time.

It seems like a lifetime waiting for my car back, I want my car back, I feel so cold, someone hold me.

I cannot believe that car was not totaled. I'm not sure I would drive that car repaired or whatever. Hope they get it right, and hope no one was seriously hurt.

I did a u-turn on a green light at an intersection, there was no signs that said I couldnt make a u-turn and I had a green light. As I did the u-turn I guess I couldnt see around some parked cars on the other side, I figured it was ok to go and out of no where came a silverado doing 45-55mph i suppose

It's funny you mention the vents, cuz Service King said they wont be back on my car once I get it back, hells if i know why, do you think the vents are dumb? Cus maybe I'll decide not to get them again, do most people think they are cheesey?

You probably didn't see the truck because of the oversized front pillars on these cars. I almost took someone out due to the blind spot these monster front pillars create.

I normally don't give my opinion on what looks dumb, etc...as to each is own, but the vents don't look that good on the Charger. I have seen vents on other cars, and they look ok, but, not for the Charger.

I hope you had the body shop order you a SRT OEM hood......!

The only Charger I have ever thought those vents look okay on is spenosk8er's car. For some reason they just seem to work on his ride.

You sure that truck wasn't trying to read what size your rims were on your fender and drifted into your lane?

I saw the pics and the first thing that came to me was BAM! the vents did it! man dont do this to the charger, those vents are NOT ok....... I cant imagine who thought on getting those vents on our precious cars!

Sad to say, but Im glad Im not the only one.

Im sure they wont reuse the vents, cause theyre getting you new fenders. Im sure they could just pull them off, and add some new 3M tape and be as good as new though.

Have you been in contact with the Insurance Company? Have you found out theestimate yet? I definatly know what youre going through. I was in an accident in my Cobra a while back...The first estimate was under $13k. They OK'd. I was hoping they would total my baby, and not put her back on the road.... Well, 4 MONTHS and $30k later...I had her again. It was a horrible experiance, especially not having a car for 2 months. (Ins covers for 30 days, and the body shop was nice enough to give me one for the last month)....

I am proud to say the body shop did a phenominal job, and the car looked AND drove like new! Its definatly worth the time, if they are doing a good job putting her back together.
