Do you people think there are going to be any commericals like that where Ford and Dodge try to show each other up with the new "Charger" and the new Mustang?

no. just like we wont see any viper vs. five-hundred commercials.

If Ford did one,
Ford would do a commercial that shows the mustang pulling away form a Charger at the 1/4 mile track, maybe some dual slaloms runs, a donut, and good burnout, and that would be it. Hooray mustang.

If DCX did one
Dodge would show what happened next. The guy driving the mustang, the two camera men, the Host and all there equipment are picked up by the Charger and they driving off. Leaving the mustang at the track.
