Can the rear axle ratio be changed on a Charger R/T? The 2.82 is a bit "long-legged" for my taste.

I'm coming from Ford Mustangs where the swap is easy since they have a solid rear axle. I don't know anything about the availability of hi-po parts for late model Chrysler products.

Not until the PCM can be reprogrammed.

I know that much, and it's only a matter of time. I'm asking about the mechanical parts (i.e. ring and pinion).

Don't know - I haven't read anywhere yet where anyone has identified the rear end.
