Diablo Catch Can will be here tomorrow....Anyone know how to install---how long it takes, and did you clean out your manifold. Notice any difference when data logging LT knock?

It's a very simple install. Only takes about 15 minutes max (depending on which mount location you're using). I didn't clean out my intake or throttle, but I didn't have many miles on RumBee when I installed the CC.

There's a good and recent thread about how and what to data log floating around here.

If you think you're getting long term knock from build-up in your intake, then I'd clean it out and consider using QB oil and ACES IV to keep it out.

Thanx for the reply. I am data logging in my quest to get rid of LT knock....I see about 1.5, when I am at WOT, (which, I try not to do too often). I had a bad t-stat, and installed another 180 t-stat (JET)....amazing how much cooler it runs. I seem to have less knock upon running cooler. I have about 46k on my 5.7, I think I will need to clean it out. I aslo run QB Oil, w/ ACES IV , on 89 oct. What fuel do you run w/ ACES?....Andy

Glad you're running QB and ACES IV!!

Since adding ACES IV, I'm running Shell 89 octane with the 93 CAI tune. Before ACES, I was running the 91 CAI tune on 93 gas. :thumbsup:
