I'm close to ordering vinyl graphics for the sides (and for the hood later) and toying with the idea of powdercoating my wheels satin black as well. My question is, what's the recommended care for both of these? Obviously I have to keep clay and polish off the vinyl but what do those of you with flat black decals, stock or otherwise, do to keep them looking fresh? Also, what can I do to keep buildup out of the edges of the vinyl while still ensuring that the paint near the edges of the vinyl gets the right treatment?

Thanks for any tips!

Good question. I don't think that there has been a good, definitive answer posted yet.

My boss just bought a 2010 HD Fatboy Lo and the paint is satin black...the dealership told him to use water only. *shrug*

On my Daytona Charger I used Turtle Wax Ice on everything and it did not leave any film of any kind.
