So I'm new here and want to give slight back story to what I want to do. I am only 21 and have had a 2012 v6 charger and a 2020 v6 challenger. I was just a couple months ago able to get my first 5.7L. It is a 2021 Hemi with the 6 speed manual. I want to make it roughly 450RWHP.

I'm only used to doing the simple hp upgrades you can do to the v6 like air intake, throttle body, exhaust, and tune. What is going to be my best route to getting the RWHP I am looking for?

I have explored long tube headers and a 3" exhaust. Can I put a bigger cam in and get it tuned and go on with my day to the next upgrades or do I have to upgrade others at the same time.

Any help is much appreciated!

Trade it in on something with a 6.4L and start from there…or go forced induction. That’s the only way to get to where you want go from the spot you stand on now.

question: why the 450 at the wheels number? Seems like an odd goal. Normally people would push for an ET and do whatever HP number got them there. I’m just wondering why you chose a HP number and want to achieve that instead?

Go bigger or go blower (or both). Keep in mind, as you increase power enough you may find your brakes and suspension aren't up to the task. Starting with a 392 car gets you all that to start with (or just install it all, but that adds to your cost).

First modification should be the 3.09 LSD.
There is no point in paying $10K+ to get 450RWHP and still have a one wheel peel.
Skip the Throttle Body. The 485hp Scat Pack uses the exact same throttle body, so it should be fine for your goal.
Contact a Mopar shop and talk to them about what you want. They will tell you how much it will cost.
Unlocked PCM/custom tuning
Long tube headers
Cam/MDS delete
Ported 6.4 intake
stroker crank and forged rotating assembly
It will be close to $10K with labour.
Or get a supercharger kit for the same $10K plus labour.

I don't seem to have any problems with one wheel peels where it is a manual. The upgrades I was looking at doing were as follows:

Diablo Sport Unlocked PCM - $1000
BBK 1-3/4 Inch headers - $500 (installed myself)
MBRP 3" catback - $700 (installed myself)
Texas speed stage 2 cam - $1100
K&N Intake - $350
Tune - Guessing $500 - $1000.

So all around i was hoping for 450 wheel at abut half the price that you are stating.

Edit- I work at dealership as well so install of cam I cant get help on cost of that.

Mainly the 450 number because that seemed the most achievable for 5k or less.

Ignore my 3.09 LSD remark. I didn't notice you got the manual.

Save yourself $1000 by not buying the cat back exhaust (you already have a 2 3/4" active exhaust) or the K&N cold air (is really a hot air intake). Neither will gain you enough to warrant the money spent.

Find a 6.4 intake and add that to your list. That will be more power than the exhaust and K&N for less money.

With that, the rest of the mods you listed and a very good tuner, you will be well in your way to the magic number you want.

So I may be wrong here as well I'm not 100% sure but the active exhaust comes on scat packs and higher. Plus the 3' will add a little bit of sound as I do prefer loud.

The 6.4 intake is just a replacement as well or no?

As I understand it, '18 or '19 + 5.7's got the same active exhaust the Scats have. I know the last 5.7 rental I drove had it. Look under it in between the rear tires, you can see if it has valves there or not.

The 6.4 intake will give you short runner/ long runners. It'll need to be wired via a window switch to operate properly and there's several instruction write ups on the webs for it. Best bang for the buck mod on a 5.7.

2017+ V8s all have active exhaust. 5.7 and 6.4 are 2.75", I imagine the Hellcat is bigger.
Nope, Hellcat is 2.75 as well. I know this because due to a dyno trans/ drive shaft malfunction, my builder had to replace my exhaust from the headers back. He used a take off Hellcat system. It's identical to the Scats.

You’re at 320-325 RWHP in stock form IIRC, so hitting 450 at the wheels (without going forced induction) will require some significant power-adding mods obviously, but doing it on a $5000 budget will be difficult.

Stepping back a second though, are you sure you want to do this with so much of your powertrain warranty remaining?

Also, your car, once modded for more power, would benefit from some supporting mods as well to ensure it can safely handle +125 extra HP at the drive axles, e.g. bigger/better brakes, better suspension (what to do about even more wheel hop?), etc.

Neglecting these sorts of things is risky when modding for (significantly more) power IMHO.
