Evening All!
I'm building a house for a guy, the 3rd one for him actually, who is a local GM for Ford where I live and has been the GM there for 20+ years. He's a good friend of mine and we were going over his new plans earlier this evening, and we started talking about car's. Again. He knows why I sold my 05 custom 300C, and wanted to know what was next on radar. Told him Charger SRT8, just waiting for the order window to open. "Charger SRT8"? "don't know bout that one. "Well, let me enlighten you". So I show him the brochures, the net, and he was blown away. He knows about the 300 SRT, but that's it. Told him about the Jeep, Magnum SRT's. Now naturally, he likes the stang, I think it's fine, but he's say's........."Uh, GM AND FORD better watch their butt's, 'cause DCX is gonna stomp a mudhole in their asses and walk it dry". Ya just gotta love the way we talk in the south. He think's the Charger and all the LX's are cool, and even likes the Ram's look's better than the F150. He told me I absolutely have to bring it by his dealership when I get. "I don't believe that's a problem". Just thought I'd share. Regards to ALL. Mike :happy:

I find all GM and Ford guys like what Mopar is doing. The salesman are different though, I had a GM salesman in our 300 with me. He was trying to tout the G6, he looks in the back seat and says the hump makes it a 2 seater...LOL. Another GM sales ace was in the back seat and simply asked (for reasons I dont know) "How many Kilometers are on this"..ahh about 23000..."oh". And another time I took it to the Chev dealership to pick up some parts. 3 salesman ran out, "that the new Chrysler 300"..Yea, its the 3.5L 250HP base model..."can I open the door"...Go ahead. :happy:

The guy I wrote about above called me today and said he showed the SRT8 to his brother who was gonna wait for the GT500, but said he was over at my dealership and was gonna try putting down a deposit on an SRT8. "Gotta wait your turn there budro".
