Hey everyone,

When coming to a stop my brake pedal is stiff/normal and then all of a sudden it softens up and drops a noticeable amount (you can feel it). It doesn't drop to the floor. What could be causing this?

Thanks

Remember physics here. Liquid is not compressible but gas is. So it could be that you have some air in the lines. Either your brakes need to be bled to get the air out or you have a compromise in the line letting air in....ie a leak. Check the reservoir. If one part is down significantly you may have a leak. Fill up both chambers and watch it.

Those are generally the only two possibilities you would have.;)
