The AFE works on the V6 because the very long/wide pipe it uses replaces the factory accordion tube that is very restrictive (it makes a huge difference in mid range power/torque on the V6). However, the version for the V8 doesn't help much at all since the intake pipe from the box to the throttle body is very short (dyno proven to do next to nothing but look good).

The Hellcat LOWER air box is way cheaper ($45 vs $450) - you use the top & pipe of your existing system on top of the Hellcat lower box.

Thanks. Do you have the MOPAR part number? I found this https://www.speedlogixstore.com/product-p/68175164ac.htm, but in the description, it's telling me I need one of those 2 other parts. Do I or just that part at the link? Or a different part, not the one I linked? (I'm not sure if I found the correct one or not. I wasn't able to find it on Rockauto.)

Oh, I was reading in another thread about the spare tire situation. Did you figure out if the 18x4 spare will 1. fit in the wheelwell and 2. fit over the pursuit rotors on the AWD models?

The "tube" they link to is for the Challenger (it goes to the headlight), the correct parts for a 2016 Charger are in the pictures on my previous post (#19) on how to install the air tube.

The compact spare tire should fit in the well, BUT I have to use a 3mm spacer on the front wheels or else the rim contacts the big police calipers and won't rotate. The spacer gives it just enough room to clear the caliper.

Is there a specific MOPAR spacer I should get? Will it come as part of a kit? Is there a better wheel option for a spare that fits in the hole in the trunk?

Btw, you should write a charger encyclopedia lol

I got my spacer off E-Bay (a crap shoot), but Speed Logic sells ones that will fit a Charger with no guess work. There is a company that sell spare tires in a kit with a jack, etc (but no spacer) but I don't remember who... search the forum for "spare tire".

Thanks. Is there a mount I need for the spare as well?

I think it's MOPAR 4575718AE. Does this come in my car? Do I need to purchase it? Or is it unnecessary?
The Police cars I have seen came with a full size spare that sits on a bracket well above the spare tire well- is that what you have and are trying to replace? I have ZERO idea about that "spare tire bracket" that you listed (#4575718AE) -- neither of my 2016s has anything that looks like that, the tires just lay flat in the well ( there is a small 1/2" "hump" that holds the bolt that tightens down everything).

That is the bracket (for the full-sized wheel not in the well), I realized with more digging. And no, I want the one that sits in the well. What bolt holds the spare in the well? Is that another MOPAR part I need?

You need part 6510265AA shoulder bolt (#8 in the picture) and 52059160AC retainer (part #5 in the picture)

What about parts 1, 4, 5, 8 and 9 in this picture? Do I not need/want them for adding a spare?

Ceramic pads are clean but don't stop for schitt when cold, and can "warp" your rotors far too easily (the rotors don't really warp, it just feels like it: the ceramic pad can melt to the rotor building up high spots, which causes them to grab at those high spots when you apply the brakes, which then makes it feel like the rotors are warped). I hate plain ceramic pads.
You said you don't like plain ceramic pads. Does this include the carbon ceramic z37 pads from powerstop? (they're not plain ceramic (I think))
