Click here for the 12.8 @ 109 video.

I finally had a chance to take Maggie to the local dragstrip in Englishtown, NJ. She ran a 12.802 @ 109.12 and then backed it up with a 12.9 @ 108 on the second pass. I'm pretty happy with these numbers considering the car is 100% bone stock with no modifications whatsoever. It even still has the temp tags on it. :D

On my 12.802 pass, the 0-60 MPH according to the EVIC was a 4.45. I think with more practice, I can cut a mid to high 1.8 60ft and run a 12.6 to 12.7 in cooler air at Atco. Not too shabby for a 4400lb family wagon!!!

Here are all the specs:

2007 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 w/3200 miles on the odo
No options except option package #2 (air filtration, automatic headlights, etc)

Track elevation: 70ft above sea level
Outside temperature: 71°F
Barometric Pressure: 29.43 In.
Dewpoint: 55°F
Density Altitude: 1617ft

Race weight including driver: 4388lbs

I'm sure you'll hear something from the scholars and engineers shortly describing how a 4400lbs car couldn't possibly run that fast....

Nice run, comes from a great launch I'm sure.

What is the difference between "Bone Stock" and "Stock"?
Stock means no performance mods

Bone Stock means no bling mods :smoke:

very very nice ...what was your engine temp at? I've ran 4.9sec on 0-60 but that was with the engine nice and warm 215 degrees, I think when the engine is cool I can run a much better time ...was this a cold run? congrats again!

oh, how many runs did you do and what was your worst run?

Sorry to be a PIA but the DA was 552' not 1617'.

8:15 PM 68.0 °F / 20.0 °C 51.8 °F / 11.0 °C 56% 30.17 in / 1021.6 hPa

Great run but I will temper my enthusiasm based on information from the weather reporting facilities.

Based on DA of 552' my bone stock car ran a 12.82 last week.

Incredible time. I was happy with a [email protected] tonight at my track. Elevation is 3200ft. Still, a 12.8 anywhere has gotta be smokin. Nice driving!

I showed this video to my friends ...and they all hated on the SRT! ...they can't seem to believe that it was stock, now these guys are GM guys and they said that the magnum had to have had something done ...all I could do was laugh at them for not believing it was stock, I wish my car ran those type of times so I can go out and show them, never ran it at the track, but will soon ...but I gotta check to see if my car is a wednesday car :) ...was yours 10SecS4? ...it would be cool to see if it was!

Yeah, but you don't have a time slip to prove it.
