Beware of console trim piece

I purchased a DODGE lettered trim piece for my 2013 Charger SE that was designed to fit in bottom of console slot to right of shifter. Only issue is I have the 8 speed transmission which has a rectangular area while part was manufacturered to fit 5 speed trapazoid shaped area. Just be sure to check that before you order. I called Diode Dynamics and they were quick with allowing me to return it but I'd still love to have one if they ever figure out how to make that piece in the proper shape.
