Any audio shop guys out there, I need some help choosing the right equipment. I am going to install a kenwood ddx-7019 stereo, I need to know what harness is the best for keeping my factory boston acoustic speaker amplifier working, I have a couple of choices, but I want the best. I also need a harness for the steering wheel controls, which should i get. Thanks.

i second these questions, i am also installing a kenwood system and need to get the harness and steering wheel controls, who makes the best stuff???
use the METRA [AXXESS] PART# CHTO-01. it has 4 rca inputs and will let you have a true fade and balance unlike most of the other can bus interface's out there. NOW as far as the wheel controls use the pac piece part# SW1-X and it will work. big pain in the butt to program but it will work.
when adapting these modules to the car do you loose the multifunction steering wheel controls?

not if you get the pac piece part# SW1-X that [email protected] mentioned
Does it fit

Crutchfield says the ddx-7019 will not fit a charger. is that true?
It will fit, but you need to get the Factory Navigation bezel, and then the proper double din kit.
what does that mean

sorry for the ignornace, but what does all that mean and how much extra does it cost.
it all depend's on what factory system you have from the factory.
Just normal stuff

I have the stock radio that come with the 2006 3.5L H/O. It has the auxilery input.

I have the Metra CHTO-01 on my Pioneer radio and pretty often my speakers do not come on but my subwoofer does (Imagine your radio playing but nothing but bass playing from your subwoofer since your speakers are not playing any sound). If i cut my car off and open the door (since the radio stays on after shutoff and before door is opened) and restart my car it works.

My radio only has 1 Remote turn-on wire so I ran the wire from my subwoofer amp and the one from this kit to the one wire from the radio. I am sure this has something to do with this problem though I do not know how to absolve it. Any suggestions?

Thanks
(Not sure if I gave enough info but ask if you need more)
could be a defective piece; just recenly a guy had a problem with no sound at all....swapped it out and was good to go.

a radios remote wire is definatly good for 2 pieces (stock amp and sub amp): I highly doubt thats the problem; especially if your subs are playing.
