I have greatly enjoyed the Brembro breaks on all of my SRT Charger's and Challengers. They are first rate.

I recently purchased a 2020 Scat Pack Charger with six piston Brembro brakes.

My wife has a 2019 Scat Pack charger with four piston Brembro brakes up front. We plan to purchase her car at the end of the lease.

It is my understanding that Brembro brakes and rotors should be replaced every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or whenever they wear down. I have been told that Brembro brakes and rotors are extremely expensive to replace.

What brand of brake pads and rotors (If any) are of equal high quality compared to Brembro at a much lower cost?

I have heard some good things about EBC. (y) 馃槑

I've never heard brakes need to be replaced at a particular mileage. That's interesting if true.

I could understand if a manufacturer stated what the normal life expectancy is.

First off, don't believe what you are told since most "experts" are car show people. Secondly, the only thing about EBC, is that there stuff is high, and it didn't work for me. I had a CTS-V, Version 2, with 6-piston fronts; same as Chargers using the "1405" pad. It weighed 4350# on wheel scales, close to ours. I put over 60K miles on it, several thousands on tracks like Road America. I replaced the front pads many times, until I found some that were inexpensive, clean, and worked great. 1405 Pads.jpg

Lastly, I only had to replace the front rotors once, and got Centric since again, inexpensive, and had a warranty. They worked wonderfully also. Other than discoloring, the stock Brembo calipers worked great also. I don't think there is anything that is equal to Brembo either.
