not really a MOD, but it sure is cost saving!

This applies to the WA580 (NAG1) 5 speed automatic.
If you are doing any tranny maintenance or upgrades, and you are in need of a new transmission filter.....

STOP! & SAVE SOME $$$
I called a local Chrysler dealership and was quoted $41.85 plus a $0.50 environmental charge.
I then called the local Mercedes-Benz dealership... $18.29, no environmental charge.
MB Pat # A 140-277-00-95
LESS THAN HALF PRICE, DIRECT FROM MERCEDES-BENZ!
Both dealerships I contacted are in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. About 2 blocks away from each other.
Exact same filter, both the MB and Chrysler part numbers appear on the box.

If you do buy it from a Chrysler dealership, it still comes in the Mercedes box.

LOL, price gouging at it's best. When I put the Daytona exhaust in my 3.5L, I bought the two exhaust brackets for the drivers side from the dealer. One of the packages had the "list" price right on the package as being $6 and some odd cents. Dealer price for me to buy them was over $13 each. Nothing like a 100% mark up on parts.I understand Chrysler is broke, but gouging the customer isn't the way to make more money.

hey guys,just a fyi...tried the esp toggle switch mod,and no go on the 2011's i read that i didnt have to take out the whole console to get to the purple-lt blue wire gained access from under the shifter bezel did the mod and nothing...thought i got the wrong wire so tried it on the simialar wire (the ones every one mixes up)and still no go..has anyone done this mod on the 11's ? and what did i do wrong? thanks for any help i may get......
