Hi everyone,

I haven't seen too many posts on chip repair and thought I would share some pics of my first use.

I drive an Inferno Red 08 SXT. (Metallic)

After reading Langka's instructions I used the wet/squeegee method on my worst chip which as you can see from the pics below was more like 3 chips and all the way down to the metal. :(

What I started with...


1st coat of paint


A work in progress, still visible but only from certain angles






Forgive the picture quality working with a cell phone. Last 3 pictures is what it looks like now

So far I'm impressed, I realize I won't get perfection but want the next best thing :)

After looking at these pics I wonder if I should apply some clear coat, or a little more paint to get it level. Any thoughts, opinions or suggestions are always welcome.

Oh and of course if you have any before and afters lets see :)

Apply enough paint to make it level. Don't worry about the clear coat. That's a lot more tricky.
