If you carefully read the new sales info from your Dodge dealer, the R/T has Royal leather seats, and so does the SRT-8, but the Daytona and the R/T performance package have "Prefered Suade" inserts, but no mention of leather. Did they down grade the seats to save money? Or is it Vinyl or cheaper leather?

It's like all the other seats. The suede replaces the leather portions. All the rest of the seats are vinyl on both versions. Also the back seats are all vinyl. Many companies do this to save money.

Notice the regular leather seats say "Leather trimmed seats"

adaptabl: Any idea just how much of the R/T seats are leather?

(Still aggravated I can't order synthetic, like you can on a Mercedes)

In the R/T, all the parts you touch are leather - the seat sides and back are vinyl. The entire back seat may be vinyl, that I'm not sure about.

In the Daytona and R/T R/T, all parts of the seats are vinyl except for the inserts.
