I emailed Superchips to ask same question as their configurator d/n give you the 6.1L engine option. Has anyone used one of these tuners to disable the TPMS on an 06 Charger/SRT8....shouldn't matter if its an SRT8 or not for the TPMS I don't think. I've worked on this system on/off several times and am to the point of disabling it to stop the annoying chimes. I asked the dealer bout it and they quoted $650 to replace all 3 transponders...shotgun maintenance. I'm to the point of using a spectrum analyser/freq counter to see if anything like the aftermarket radio system or Halo headlights could be generating a harmonic that's interfering w the tpms. I've had new wheel sensors installed by goodyear, verified the transponders are installed and wired right. Goodyear said the codes coming up now indicate the WCM is faulty, but that is the same module that operates the door locks/alarm system and they work fine so I have my doubts. Anyone have one of these scanners and live near FL panhandle and be willing to help me turn off this darn system? Thanks

I've always heard it's possible with the Superchips tuners. Why don't you just buy a set of TPMS for your new wheels? Much cheaper than a Superchip tuner.

That's the 1st thing I did...got a bad set from RockAuto...dead batteries, then had Goodyear replace them.

Heard back from Superchips...they never developed anything to tune the 6.1...think I read on here somewhere that its tuned pretty good as is. Superchips tech said only their jeep tuners cand make adjustments to the tpms. he suggested check with diablo
