anybody need stock srt8 headers and midpipes?

I'll hook you up for a good price if you are interested in upgrading....I've heard of alot of guys using these for their 5.7's because of its larger size and more free flowing design over the stock 5.7's.

right now there is someone on LX forums I think selling just the headers for 125 not shipped....mines would come with the mids with the stock cats as well....they are in good shape, a few scratches on the bottom of the mids but are structually sound.

make me a reasonable offer if you want em.....and sorry but I really dont want to install headers ever again if I dont have to..LOL...I will offer any tips or suggestions if needed.

let me know if any of you want em....i was thinking somewhere in the range of 200 or so....I will take trades for any types of things!!

and I must put this if any of our friends from the mainland see it....LOCAL ONLY.......unless anyone is willing to pay shipping from hawaii....

the 6.1's do fit the 5.7's, you have to use the 6.1 gaskets and bolts, there is a right up on the lxforums about!

I've heard that there is a decent increase....there are some 5.7's on lxforums that use the stock 6.1 manifolds on their strokers and supercharged cars. the 6.1's are a more open and free flowing design when compared to the 5.7's. some cant seem to warrant the price to power ratio you get when upgrading to LT's or shorty's so they just go this route. I wouldnt have changed them either if I hadnt gotten a deal for my setup. I was going to just purchase the HHP catless mids, but for about 200 more I could get headers as well as catless mids with this one. im not sure if you could just bolt up the 6.1 mids to your exhaust though. but if you wanted to try I would definitely let you take em for alot lower price, after all I do owe you for the lip!:bigthumb:

let me check with some people see if they think its worth it to go through all the work!! also to see if they are getting any increases in hp!

no problem man. just let me know. and you said it right there with the worth it to go through all the work part!

oh and I got all the bolts. I reused the stock gasket since hhp told me it would be ok. I still have the doug thorley gaskets brand new but it might be worth it if you do go through with it to get new gaskets since they are fairly cheap anyways.

The SRT8 Headers ion a 5.7L are significantly Better, some say there equal to the JBA shorties in flow , Size etc..

Altho there are no Dyno Result comparing the 2. I'd say if your worried about warranty snag a set of 6.1's they will look factory under your hood.
