I own a vanilla colored charger R/T. I am not sure how I want to design it. I like how it looks and dont want it too much on it. I am a female that owns one. I dont want it too cute and pretty. I want it to still be mean but a good look. Any ideas would be great. I have a picture but my computer has issues, it wont let me down size the picture. You can go to my profile on yahoo under faith_nomore86.Thanks

Have no idea why, but here is the profile. I know I am tinting it and I have the tips on the exhaust, but I just dont know as far as a design. I am really simple. I like to do the work myself, but I live in this small town and they have no one that does custom designs anyways. I really wouldn't know if I trust any other than me to do it.

Gret Color faith! I live in Virginia, I have a Midnight Blue R/T and LOVE IT also. I found some tinted license plate covers that favor the color of the car and it looks really nice. I am not into putting all the stripes etc on the car, but, have ordered a color matched Daytona Type rear spoiler straight from mopar. It makes the car look really really hot ... in pictures that is... Ok... So you should hold onto the car, because the Cool Vanilla color is no longer used on Chargers. They replaced it with stone white. You have a rare color on the car, should make it more desireable. Also the cool vanilla adds a touch of class to the car, so adding all kinds of 3rd party stuff would not seem to do it any good...

Loved the ideas. Yeah I wanted to keep it simple but give it my own thing. I was also thinking of getting a hood scope, but really dont know. I got the tint coming and the tail pipes, but not too sure about the rims. I like these they remind me of the 69 Charger rims. Just these are not steel or shiny chrome like I want. It just looks like it needs one thing to just go WOW, other than me sitting in it..lol. Thanks for the idea though.

Hi Faith, welcome to the forum. Nice to have some ladies showing up. (BTW, I'm impressed, catching sharks. How cool is that!!)

As for mods, dont go with the scoop, unless you can go all out and replace the hood with an STR-8 version. I am not a hood scoop freak so if you can live without the scoop I'd skip it. With a white car (even this vanilla color) you only need a couple of things to give it that extra shot of "kewl". Even though the standard rims are nice, I believe the vanilla color could use a shot of chrome to help it sparkle. The tinting will be nice as well. I am alway into spoilers, so a body color spoiler from mopar would do the trick. Finally the Charger has a lot of body panel and the vanilla needs a little something to help break up the color a little. Not many like pin-striping, but I think if you can find a good, no make that a great pin striper, just a hint of a dark color (black most likely) to highlight the fenders would give it (in my opinion) that final pop that make it unique. If you don't like the pin-striping, there is a company out there that is making Daytona like rear-fender decals that might do the trick as well. If I can find the thread that lead to them I will post a link.

I had a 69 Charger that my father rebuilt for my brother, but he wasnt old enough to drive. So I drove it. Then the stupid thing was that he gave it to my brother and he ran it into a poll and destroyed it. Same for his mustang, his bike, and what ever else he can get. I took good car of my rides. I think I am the only female that has one or is there one out there that knows what they are....lol. just kidding.
I have already raced it out on !-95. I take careful because cops around here love speeders even if you are 5 miles over. I dont get speeding tickets. I just got one for following too close. That was funny. I dont care.
THe cool thing is that when you hit 100mph that body starts to drop and then when you hit 120mph the whole body drops low. It is so neat. I dont do it too often but man feels like it is floating. I love the steering control. It hugs curves nice without having to hold on tight to the grip. I can manuever in and out of cars like you couldnt believe it. The people where I live cant drive worth a lick. ONe old man almost ran me off the road because he wasnt watching before he was turning and his little dog kept jumping all in the car. I was next to him, how do you not see me. I am a pretty loud color, guess it blinded him. lol. I had to jump the curve and get back on to save it from getting hit. I would be so embarassed if it got hit. The speed limit was 40mph. Yes I was going that fast too. But anyways later.

CO-Charger, if you find that thread, I am interested in getting a "R/T" (vinyl???) stripe for the rear quarters. Kinda like this picture.

I am hoping to top this off with a painted to match spoiler, full tint, and painted black or zinc rims.

faith_nomore86 I actually wanted the Vanilla too. I think that it may look hot with some black or zinc rims, just my opinion.

Congrats on the car, when my wife and I were first looking at the 300s and Magnums last year she wanted a Cool Vanilla but they were hard to find when we bought. One thing she wanted to do with the Cool Vanilla is to add ghost flames and I think they would look great, they break up the straight lines without being overly obnoxious. Just a thought. Enjoy

My husband wanted me to get black, but I think black, red and blue are the popular colors. I like to be different. Explain ghost flames. Not sure if that is me, but wondering what it is. I was thinking of something ripping through the paint. Not color just a little piece like it is peeling the paint back towards the end or on the hood. I am a big American girl. My house is decorated in red whit and blue, and I have in my back window laying down a flag and red white and blue hair tie on the mirror. THinking al american for it.

Here's another place to look:

It looks like they specifically have graphics covering the classic charger, but in their custom section it would appear they might be able to help you make something for the '06 charger.

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. Just depends if they can customize it for the '06. Next, I just need to find the "R/T" emblem for the grill (Like the Daytonas have).
