Does anyone know if this rims will fit on a Dodge Charger R/T these are the closest I could find to SRT8 wheels. They look more like a muscle car and less like a pimp mobile...

any opinions? Any one know if they will fit, they come the following configuration listed as Chrysler: 20x8.5 5-115 Chrysler 18 5 1/2 $1,049.99

Here's a link to it http://www.tirefactory.net/gt5.html

Its a $1049 for all 4 without the rubber.

Anyone else know of any rims that are alloy/silver finish (non-chrome) 20" or 22"

I'm looking for Muscle car wheels, not Jay-Z dubs.

This wheel is a ROH Drift R and comes in 19x8-19x9 Silver Mag./ Polished lip w/ clear coat, but all the 20's I like, muscle car also, are chrome or you might try a custom wheel like Boyd Coddington, but they're pricey. Good luck! Mike

Ok guys beware.
If you go to a 20 " rim you could encounter two problems.
1. the esp calibration does have some play put in it for aftermarket but you could pull a code that engages the esp stability at WOT. When the initial bucks for the SRT8 were built they were stripped of all the LX stuff and fitted with the prototype SRT equipment. Unfortunately the manufacturer couldn't produce the correct wheels for development so we used 20" ultras. At WOT the back end would engage and it would sound and feel like you were running over train tracks.

2. The SRT8 has different steering knuckles on it that allow it to package a large wheel. If you put 20's on a base LX knuckle I promise you that there will be about 10mm or less of clearance to the upper ball joint and I dont know if you will bottom out on it with the base equipment.

Are you saying that we should not put 20s on the R/T. Now I am complete confussed.

You can with no problem. The steering knuckle travels up and down with the tire and wheel. Just make sure there is enough clearance from the bolt/nut that when a couple of guys bounce the front hard it does not hit the top of the tire. I've done this many many times. Never a problem. :)

That's what I was saying or trying to say about the clearances... it's tight! And yes the top of the knuckle travels with the car (true) but if you saw the fea on how much this knuckle moves around you would sh*t your pants.

As far as the esp I am trying to get a definite answer out of my contact who works on the cpu program. My thoughts are that 20's if you spin em hard at wot you may experience a glitch. There is a line of code in the program that calls out the tire size, all you have to do is change the tip from 18 to 20 and it's all good.
