A few years ago I saw a magazine in a new product section a company was taking air bags from suspension and making car jacks out of them. They were ideal because they could fit under very low cars and raise them up for normal jacks. Anyone ever see them? I've googled search and found nothing except big industrial air jacks.

I saw something just like that in a magazine very recently, can't find it.

Here's some on eBay that's a bit different:

Still, what stops the bag from going sideways while jacked up? Can't seem much safer in my opinion..

Sweet you found it! Of course you can find it on ebay when I tired it didn't work.

Im not sure what prevents it from going side to side, but I would like one as a starter jack instead of my factory honda jack. My NSX is so low that I can get a normal floor jack under it and it would be nice to use something like these airbags to lift it instead of a scissor jack. Wow they aren't even that expensive either. I may give it a shot and report back.
