I have a '06 3.5L charger. Recently hooked up my stereo back up since a break in. I have 7 speakers total. The 2 rear and 2 top front speakers are being powered by 1 amp in the trunk. The sub is being powered by a second amp, and the 2 front door speakers are just hooked up straight to the stereo. Sound comes out in all speakers but the front door speakers are so low, even at higher volume you can't hear a thing. Does anyone know how I can fix this? This car has no factory amp either so the connections were just going through the harness. I even ran my own wire to the stereo hoping this would work. Could it be that the stereo isn't powerful enough? or do I need to do the big 3 upgrade? My stereo is a Pioneer X6900BT. All of the speakers installed are new as well. Thanks in advance!

Check the rated impedance of the receiver and the door speakers. You may be dealing with an impedance mismatch, which can be a real performance killer.

Sorry for replying so late, been real busy but i figured it out and I feel like a giant dedede. I ended up resetting my stereo and it ended up being a setting during set up that was changed. I could tell the difference right away. The subwoofer wasn't as powerful but you could hear the front speakers. Now I just need to tune the amps. I did notice over time tho that the front speakers weren't as loud. I was looking into the Big 3 upgrade and someone said we only have to do the battery ground and engine block-chassis ground. The alternator to battery is already 1/0 but i didn't see that. Would just doing 2 out of the 3 help out in anyway?
