Witch battery is best for my 06 charger srt8? Is the oem battery from the dealer better than the aftermarket ones? Is the h7 xtp jci extreme from les Shwab and good? Price doesn't matter I'm just looking for what's best for my charger, it does have the factory equipped kicker subwoofer and the navigation system has well. Any advice would be really help ful

The OEM batteries are great, and as you have experienced, last a long time.

The Die Hard Gold AGM battery is very good too.

I have had both and I replaced my factory battery with the DH gold when it finally died and the DHG was great...until a small furry rodent got in my trunk a chewed some wires shorting it out and draining it to death 4 years later.


I went back to OEM (because I was at the dealer getting the harness repaired and needed a new battery ASAP) and it has been equally great ever since.

I hate it when squirrels and rats do that, they ruined my sound system on my old mustang couple years ago, it's horrible. Do you remember how many years is the warranty with the oem battery with the dealer? How much did the dealer charge you? And thank you for the feed back

I went with a WalMart Battery, not sure how long ago, it's been fine so far. Ill check and see when that was.

There are only like two or three mfg of batteries. Johnson Controls is a big OEM mfg. I've lost track of who makes which brands.
