Okay so I took my car to Dodge on Friday and apparently the recall for the ABS/ESC light was already done. Had the other recalls fixed in the meanwhile. So now why the heck are those lights on?! I wasn't going to pay $100 for a diagnosis from Dodge to just hook the car to a computer. That's a bit steep. Do any of you have any suggestions or ideas on what could be causing this and how it can be fixed?

I don't lose traction or anything and my brakes are just fine.

You are wearing headphones and singing. You are the only one that can hear the music...all we hear is your singing.

What car, what year, what recall, what lights came on and when, etc.

Let us hear the full orchestra.

The ABS/ESC recall was the M10 per Dodge and was already fixed in 2012. The other recalls that were fixed on Friday were the N07 and P08. Recall P60 was not done (the alternator one) because the recalls was not complete and parts were not avail.

The lights showed up about a week after I had the car (got it on Black Friday) and haven't gone away since. Tomorrow my dad and I are going to check the fuses to see if that has anything to do with it. We aren't sure since the recall was supposed to be fixed.

As far as the ABS and ESC lights being on, it means they are not currently functioning. With a V6, you may not lose traction but your stability control is inactive. Anti-lock is also disabled. The brakes will feel fine until you need them to be in Anti-lock mode and they will lock up and you will skid.

First thing to do is reboot the system by pulling the battery cable and wait a minute or two before reconnecting. If the lights return, then you need to check for codes and see what it is showing.

Only after you know what the codes are can you begin to make a proper diagnosis of the issue.

Thank you so much! We will try that tomorrow and see if it helps. I appreciate your help. :) I'll let you know the result tomorrow.

Nothing worked. We disconnected the battery and had the car diagnosed and it says that nothing was wrong with the car. The lights never went out. Time to take it to the shop at another time to have them figure it out.

Thank you for the help!

I just repaired the same thing on my 2012 SXT Plus this afternoon. Seems to be an issue with all the 11 to 14 models as there are plenty of threads asking what the issue could be. I purchased 3 sensors for the car since the 4th was backordered Swapped the 2 rear and no dice. Switched the Drivers front and EUREKA!!! No more lights!!! Ill swap out the passenger from thats the same and the Drivers when I can get one for 10$ again. Total I'm $55 into it which is half the cost of the dealer even reading the code IM STOKED!!!
