Hey guys. Been reading the post and am excited to get my R/T! Got a question. If the dealer doesnt have the specific car I want and it needs to be ordered, will the length of time it takes to get the car depend on the options ordered? For instance, I want a black R/T with the performance suspension package and no other options. (I plan on adding some goodies eventually). Think this may take a while to get?
Also, I noticed the basic R/ts have a chrome grill, and the srt8 and daytona have the black grill. Can this black grill be ordered from mopar as a part? Thanks

Howdy Grantoga, and welcome to the forum. They started building cars with the road/track upgrade the 15th June, so its just a matter of time for that after you order and get a VIN. I dont know about the grill option tho

Hey, thanks for the info! Let me tell you guys what Im thinking, and get your input. I wanna get the bare bones black charger r/t with perf. suspension package (this comes with those performance wrap-around seats right?). I dont want any of that electronic "convenience" that I will never use. Call me old fashioned. I would like to get a set of black 20" rims (i heard 22s can hurt performance) can u guys recomemend a good set of black rims? Im also eventually gonna get the front air dam and a black front grill, if they become available from the factory as a orderable part. Also either a good set of cat-back exhaust or just some new mufflers, depending on the size of the factory pipe and if it is mandrel bent or not. If the factory piping looks good, im just gonna change mufflers. Any and all input welcome guys!

So ive always been a gear head but performance parts for a new vehicle have always been new to me. I just read about removing the resonator/muffler thing to get a better exhaust note and a little better flow. this sounds like a pretty cheap mod untill I can get a full system. Also, are intake/exhaust parts that fit the 300c fit this car? I read that a set of headers can net a gain of +30 hp!
