A/C the air from the center console

I have the same problem with my a/c. The only time my a/c blows a little cool air from the console is when it's on recirculation and I'm actually driving the car. What really honks is that there's no way to turn off the vents from the console (and living in the Texas heat doesn't help either). My kids complain all the time about the hot air blowing on them when it's 100 degrees outside.

I find the center console air vent useless for passengers in the back. Not sure how it's routed, but by the time the air gets back there, it's not very cool.

If you take it in, please let us know what was done to correct it.

Use recirc, and try shutting off one or two of the front vents to force more air out back. It has a long way to travel, through the console ductwork an' all. That Texas heat doesn't make it any easier...
