My amber lights for the A/C and the recirculation buttons will have power even with the key out and drivers door open. If I turn the fan selector knob all the way off they go out. When I turn the knob back on they light up, all with no key in the ignition and no power to anything else. My fan did not turn on but there was defiantly power to switch the indicator lights. I came out to the car the other day to get a CD and saw them on. I checked it today and I can't get it to do it now. Anybody have this?

by any chance have you heard it make a low pitch whining noise from the ac control when you turn on the head lights and the ac is off? you can make the whine go up and down with the dimmer switch-mine did what yours is doing when the car was 2 days old then stoped-then it started the whining-i replaced it-it turned out to be a bad ground on the board in side the control panel
