You could always get the 6.4L intake manifold. Not sure if the 392 cam would be an improvement over the one in the 6.1, but definitely something to look into if it does work. Other than that, I really don't know what else you could use... Possibly 6.4 heads would fit? Maybe?

i wonder if the plastic 6.4 intake is better than the aluminum intake on the 6.1 .
the 6.1 soaks up a lot of heat .

The 6.4L intake manifold is an active intake with long tube and short tube runners that are controlled by the PCM. It is useless on the 6.1L engine. A 2010 5.7L Eagle intake would work but it doesn't flow any better, it just has less heat sink.

As far as the cam goes, the 6.4L cam is designed for VVT so while it is useful on the later 5.7L engines that also have VVT, it is useless on the 6.1L engine which doesn't have VVT.

Just buy performance parts designed for the 6.1L engine. The 6.4L has nothing to offer for it. The 6.4L was built off of the 5.7L engine, not the 6.1L engine.

6.4 Intake is definitely better. Smoother material, cooler temps because the plastic doesn't absorb the heat like the metal intake does. Also the active runners make a difference as well. I've heard that the 5.7 Eagle intake is better than the 6.1 intake if you're staying NA.

Try looking up the cam profiles of the 6.1 and the 6.4.. See if the 6.4s is more aggressive and if it'd be worth while to swap (if possible).
