Good Morning All
Would like to get some feedback concerning the engine cover. If there was one on my charger it was not present when I bought it, although the mount studs are. I suspect it was there but removed. I realize these are a "bling thing". Is anyone aware of a specific reason I should have that installed? I want to replace it - my question, is there any down side to that "bling". i.e. cooling, restrictions etc?

It's just there for looks and maybe a slight bit of noise reduction. If anything it's going to allow for better engine cooling - though very, very minimal. One of the very first things I did when I bought my Charger was take it off.

I have a ram air box where mine used to be. It is now in the basement with the rest of the original parts.

I like the way some folks on here custom paint them in different cool ways.

I think the cover gives the engine bay a clean look as well.

However, not having one looks good too if the top of the engine intake is kept tidy and detailed.
