So, I was revving my engine the other day and noticed that it stops at 3900 RPMs and the power to the accelerator shuts off and the needle slowly falls back down under 1500 RPMs until I can rev it again. I was revving in Park and I'm wondering why it's doing this? In my old car I could redline in park, is this a setting I can change or what? Also, whenever I try to burnout by holding the brake and accelerator, the brake won't let off until the RPMs have dropped. How else are you supposed to do a standstill burnout? Any help is appreciated.

It's a safety feature of the Chargers...can't go above 4K in park..I think neutral too?

Its more fun to redline in D anyways :)
