My car will be parked in a hangar from Nov. 19th until ~ Dec. 23rd. I remember my grand dad had a truck he drove only every few months. When he would go to start it for the first time he would disconnect the neg battery terminal and crank it a few times, then reconnect it and start it up. He said this was to get the oil back up in the block and pre-lube it.
Is this another one of his superstitions or should I give it a try when I come back in Dec.?
BTW, it's a 1971 F100. My dad has it; 116k orig miles and the original, un-rebuilt engine....this may answer my own question.

Just park it and leave it, it will be fine. A month isn't long enough to worry about. Even six months I wouldn't worry.
