Hey Guys,

Does it really make a difference. Before you answer, keep in mind our winters, wet seasons, humid summers, and the terrible highways[Atleast in my end]. Add to that the more than occasional camping trip, going over gravel roads and driving through more than the occasional pot hole...

Does it matter what I use? Or am I screwed whatever I choose?

Personally, I would like to put 22's on her, though. But would go with 20's if it is safer, less chance of ruining tires/wheels, etc.

I'd suggest 20's if you've got pot holes...

Hi First-Car

I'd be completely surprised if you found a tire that size that was any good for winter. Good snows need to be narrower with a taller sidewall and a proper winter tread. I do know that the F1's are completely useless in snow.

I bought winter tires and wheels:

The tires are Dunlop Grandtrek WT M2, 235/60R18. The wheels are BSA 264 18x8.0. With these and ESP I had no trouble in snow at all.
