Yes traded in my 2016 Charger for a 2017 Chrysler 300S and I’m having the same issue.

Purchased the vehicle on 12/31 and have been calling Sirius XM Guardian for the past three weeks. Each time I call I get the same response that my ticket has been sent to a technician, no estimated time frame on when to expect it to be resolved and for a technician to call, and they will compensate me on the back end. I’ve asked to speak with some in the IT department and was told they don’t take calls.

Very frustrated with this new system for not being able to use all of my features and their lack of response to this issue.

I am having the same issues with my 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. The Guardian service is not working and I have wasted 10+ phone calls only to get the same we don't know answer. They even told Dodge to replace the head unit and then upgrade. After the replacement the head unit still didn't work and the Dodge tech and I spent 1 hr on the phone only to eventually get lock and unlock to work and then that just stopped too. Completely unreliable. What's worse the people on the phone are as low level as possible and hard to understand. I work IT and it is maddening. This service is free for 1 year but it has only worked for like a month of the 5 I have had it. Hope someone can help fix this please!!!

First post here lol.. Just got an ‘18 Charger SXT Plus..got it on the 24th and problems with SiriusXM Guardian since day 1..everything works except the vehicle locator..I have called Sirius about 10 times and some of the responses I’ve gotten are hilarious. “there’s no owner attached to the car.” “we need the title and bill of sale” “you cant call me from your cell phone, you have to call me from the car” “your VIN isnt assosciated with an account” like holy moly..I ended off like others have with a ticket being made,no time frame, and we will call you when its fixed..its really absurd. I know the locator is not a big deal but knowing it doesn’t work and Sirius and UConnect being able to do nothing, just makes it worse..Over two weeks now makes me think nobody at Sirius works or does anything..horrible service if you ask me

I'm having the same SiriusXM guardian issues as everyone else here on my new 2017 Challenger Hellcat. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with SiriusXM last Tuesday and got absolutely no where. One lady even tells me I needed to call a different department because she couldn't help me and after I wrote the number down and called I realized it was the same number I had called. I even joined this forum after I googled the issue and found this post in hopes Andrea at Dodgecares could help me. I PM'ed her a couple days ago and haven't heard back. Does anyone know how to fix this??

So hopefully, my car is getting closer to being repaired. After working with Jasmine at DodgeCares, the car is now schedule to go back to the dealership for repairs. However, I tried to PM her and now it shows DodgeCares inbox is full and I cant let her know the appointment details. Hopefully, someone there will see this and empty the inbox.

Same here In my 2017 Charger. Just bought it and it Won't even call sirius guardian in car. Just highlights the call button but Won't call. Also won't let Register via email option. Tried calling and sales rep had me reset the radio and that was about it. Call got disconnected and he didn't even call back even though he asked for my number for this reason, Worst service ever.

Is anyone with a 2017 experiencing problems registering for SiriusXM Guardian online that replaced Uconnect Access? I have the app on my phone but I am not able to register or access anything from the online website with my account. I read a forum online that many other are experiencing the same issues. It’s very frustrating when calling them because it’s the same thing every time…explain the problem to them (eight times now), they talk to you like you’re an idiot and once they realize there really is a problem with no solution, they promise a call back but do not return the call. I’ve spoken with eight (8) reps at the SiriusXM Guard phone # since Friday and not one person has been able to help. They do recognize there is a problem, but they have no idea how to fix it. The last person I spoke with hardly spoke English and had no idea what I was saying. Who can I reach out to who can actually do something and help me? I’d like to get my account set-up so I can utilize it. Anyone?? Thanks.

Now my app says 0 miles on car and none of the features work, no lock, sos button, nothing. I called customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do and I have to go to a dealer. Any ideas on how to fix?? Thank you.

Sirius told me to go to the dealership, and they replaced the radio, but it still doesn’t work. The dealership also refused to do a Starr Report for the car since they believe I don’t have a Uconnect access subscription.

I would call SiriusXM Guardian customer service 1-844-796-4827 and find out what is going on. You will need the radio ID. You recently purchased the car correct? Did you pay for a new subscription or did you have a free short trial period? it is possible the previous owner cancelled the service for a prorated refund. Or the new service (if you purchased it) has not updated.

I'm simply taking a guess because I obviously do not know the exact circumstance behind your XM subscription. But you need to call XM Guardian to sort it out.

Yeah I had a trial. But I cancelled it out and purchased the subscription thinking that would fix the problem. Alas still have issues and now no more trial. Idk how many guardian customer service agents I've spoken to about the problem. 3 tickets put in to support over about 3 weeks and no results
