Is anyone with a 2017 experiencing problems registering for SiriusXM Guardian online that replaced Uconnect Access? I have the app on my phone but I am not able to register or access anything from the online website with my account. I read a forum online that many other are experiencing the same issues. It’s very frustrating when calling them because it’s the same thing every time…explain the problem to them (eight times now), they talk to you like you’re an idiot and once they realize there really is a problem with no solution, they promise a call back but do not return the call. I’ve spoken with eight (8) reps at the SiriusXM Guard phone # since Friday and not one person has been able to help. They do recognize there is a problem, but they have no idea how to fix it. The last person I spoke with hardly spoke English and had no idea what I was saying. Who can I reach out to who can actually do something and help me? I’d like to get my account set-up so I can utilize it. Anyone?? Thanks.

Any news on this? Kinda curious myself on this concern, having same issue and saw on a few other forums a select few having issues.

Thank you for your message. Someone from SXMG saw my post on here and contacted me directly. The issue was addressed and is now taken care of. Thanks again for reaching out. It sound like others are experiencing the same issues as me though. See above. Thanks again!

I am literally having the same issue...I have both the UCONNECT and Guardian UCONNECT app. Neither one is giving me the features I had before. I can't even access the Guardian app and I never had any issues in my Jeep SRT with UCONNECT. I can't even get UCONNECT to pull up my vehicle, it just gives me music app options...

I am having similar issues where it let me register, and I can use the app and website. But on my car itself on the Uconnect it won't let me go to the user guide or go to go services it still says activate and my only options are by phone or email. But I've already activated and am unable to do so again obviously

My 8.4 UAQ experience

When I got my 2017 6 weeks ago I called them from my car and they got the UConnect working right away. I'm new to
Dodge but It seems the old plain, black colored app UConnect does nothing with this new system. I assume you folks used
that app before Sirius joined up.
Have had 2 glitches in 2000 miles. Once the backup camera image froze, but that cleared up as soon as I put it in Drive.
Secondly, my system shut down and restarted on its own while I was driving and not touching anything.
It was weird but all functions are great.
Not enough to make me update yet. Still waiting through the debugging phase.

I am having this exact same issue with my 2017 charger, I had to demand they cancel the original trial account to try and re-register again but still no connected services and this has been happening since 07/2017. I'm so disappointed with dodge for making this switch, I've owned 6 chargers, they are my favorite cars but my connected services do not work and xm guardian says the same thing, we will call you back and never do. I've had my car at the dealership 5 times since I bought it in jan 2017, even tried calling dodge and have had absolutely no help. $60,000 sitting in my garage and I cannot even remotely start it or monitor theft or use 911 if needed, just pathetic.

It hasn't gotten any better on the 2018s. I purchased my car on Sept 8, 2017. I have been unable to get any of the Guardian services to work.

I have called Guardian services using the "assist" button in the car, I've called them from the "activate services" app in the car, and I've called the phone number that pops up when I try to log into the Guardian app (there is a separate app for Guardian). I also spent about an hour or so in at the dealership in the Service Director's office as he tried to get things rolling.

Guardian cannot find my car when I call, they say that the VIN does not populate in their system. When I give them the VIN manually they still know nothing about the car. I've started four separate "trouble tickets" through Guardian, and they're supposed to call me back; this has not happened.

I've called Dodge, using the phone number on the "contact us" page at their website. They say that everything looks good on their end. Everything appeared to look correct in the computer when the Service Director pulled it up.

My Sirius radio works just fine. I can pair my phone without issues. I can stream music through the car, and I can receive text messages and the system will read them out to me. I can only reply with the "canned responses", rather than the speech to text feature, Google Car and Apple Car apps are greyed out. "SOS" fails to connect if the button is pushed.

In summary, Guardian claims that FCA needs to update their system and 'tell' them what vehicles have been recently manufactured, etc. The Service Director at my dealership is attempting to backtrack everything that they do at the point of sale to see if someone somewhere forgot to push a button, or activate something. He tells me that I'll hear back from him this coming week. He was pretty good about keeping me updated on another problem with a different vehicle, so I'll give him the chance.

I hope this gets fixed soon. or dodge gets rid of xmguardian and go back to the 2016 model, it worked better and we had no issues. this can severely hurt their brand, they should start listening to their customers, we are speaking very loud!

Hi i am currently having the same issue with xmguardian after updating my system software to UCONNECT_VP4R_US_NAV_CR16.11_LALDLX_MY17 i cannot re activate my xmguardian service and no longer have my performance pages either. I spoke to them through the car and they were trying to verify the issue and they said the only solution was for me to take my car to dealership and replaced the head unit. I have made an appointment to take my car in. I really hope they fixed the issues and i hope the dealer ship replaces my head unit with a new one and fixes the issues i am currently having with no performance pages and software acting buggy. My services was activated with no issues and the xmguardian app worked with no problem and after the software update the app does not work and my VIN# does not exist any longer it makes no sense to me.

For those of us who don't even want it, I wish there was an option to opt out of all the junk mail begging me to sign up. It literally goes straight into the trash. The same goes for all the junk mail asking me to buy an extended warranty.

Special shout out and thanks to Andrea from DodgeCares!

I PMed my VIN and within a couple of days she replied telling me that I should be able to activate my services. I was able to successfully do so last night.

I reached out to dodge cares - Andrea and she was awesome in getting this issue resolved for me, I was overjoyed when I pressed the sos button and it worked, all my connected services are working now. I'd been working for months trying to get this taken care of and she get the issue resolve in less than 2 days. thank you so much dodge cares for giving me my whole care back

Same issue 2018 SiriusXM Guardian...so what if it's a Durango,problem is the same

I just purchased a 2018 Dodge Durango RT, I was able to use the remote access features on my UConnect app for three weeks then it suddenly stopped working!! The app now shows that I do not have an active subscription! I have been in touch with SiriusXM Guardian customer service for 3 weeks!!! Each time I call to check on the status of my issue I have to painstakingly go through the hassle of explaining the problem over and over, and every person I speak with wants to troubleshoot the issue, when it's already been determined that there is a problem!!!! They created a work order on my account on November 22 and the issue STILL hasn't been resolved. In the interim, the time on my free subscription is ticking away. They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and there's absolutely no reason why 1) my account just stopped working and 2) that it's taken so long to fix it. It is well beyond frustrating at this point and totally unacceptable that they allow this level of disregard for their customers!!

Same problem for months

I Have a 2017 Chrysler 300s and have been battling for months with multiple representatives of SXM Guardian. I just want this resolved so i can use the free trial to its full potential to see if i would like to purchase it once my trial is up. If i cannot use the app and the remote services now, why would i pay for it at a later stage
