Check your fuses under the hood and make sure they are all pushed down firmly and that the headlight fuses isn’t blown. This is a common issue.

Unusual enough that I don't think I've ever seen it happen. And that's coming from someone who worked in a repair shop from the time I was a kid until I finished college (the ancestral family business for almost 70 years).

I had the exact same thing happen on my 2009 Mazda 6. Both low beams stopped working.
I brought it to the dealer, and both bulbs went out at the exact same time.(only 30,000kms on them too)
