I have a 2014 Charger and I want to replace the uconnect radio with an aftermarket head unit what all will I need to make that possible?

If you have the 8.4 inch, lots of functions other than the radio are controlled by it. You would loose all that functionality.
You didn't say what model of radio or charger you have.
