Greetings,

New to Dodge and new to this forum. I recently purchased a 2014 Dodge Charger 3.6l SE. It came with the 20" black Mopar rims. I love it so far except for the V6. I went with the V6 due to fuel costs and also insurance.
I am looking for mods to do to this car. I have put in a drop in K&N air filter. I have mixed reviews in after market CAI. I have been researching a lot on catback systems. The only problem is that there is not many options. I want to get rid of the RESO so I have that loud sound.
The drone wont bother me for my last car was a 5.0 straight pipes from the headers back.
Any recommendations on where to start with any mods? Catback, Tuner?

I have the Pypes Street Pro catback on my 3.6 and I absolutely love it. Nice deep tone in the lower RPM and a throaty growl above 3000 RPM.

Can you be a little more specific?
I've been reading a lot about this too as I have a '14 V6. In short if you remove the resonators, you'll get drone and you won't like it. Replacing the mufflers though, that might work for you. Some have had good success with replacing mufflers with glasspacks from Thrush or Cherry Bombs. Check youtube there are a bunch of videos of different combinations especially on a V6 with both Chargers and Challengers. Straight piping from the cat will probably be a bad idea, you might like the start up but after that it'll get annoying. But, if you're looking for "loud over all else, annoying drone included" it will get you that. Keep in mind it'll still sound like a V6 though, you won't fool anyone into thinking you have a hemi just because you removed the reso's and mufflers.

Also make sure if you do this, some of the Sport packages evidently have the reso's and mufflers swapped middle/back so make sure if you want to just delete mufflers you get the right ones. Good luck

Cabin is good and just startup and revs. Don't really care what other people hear as long as I like it

Like it nice job bud. There's someone on Facebook about 80 miles from me selling a flowmaster American thunder catback system for $400 I believe with less than one year on it. He's got an RT but I bet it can be made to fit. Just won't be bolt on. It's got a muffler in it but no resonators I believe.

Can one of you with stock v6 3.6 that is too quiet take a pic of the engine bay for me, more focus on the intake pipe.
I ask this because ive used a Challenger with the 3.6L and a Journey witht he 3.6L.
The Challenger was loud at WOT as a small V8, the journey was deadly silent!
I looked under the hoods, the Chally had a regular intake pipe, straight to the throttle body, the Journey on the other hand, had 4 tube and 1 reservoir resonators to dampen all sound.
You may have some resonators, replace the factory intake pipe with a metal one and it should givd you tons more sound, the 3.6L is capable of it!
