Why is it if I step on it hard seemingly in the lower rpm range it almost acts like she'll die but a second later picks up and goes?

Things to look at/for? Clean air filter.

Bone stock with 50K.

Try some Fuel injection cleaner,and may have to clean up throttle body!

Did you ever change your spark plugs? On Hemis your suppose to change plugs @ 30K!

Get some ACES IV in the gasoline. Gasoline leaves deposits that off the shelf products and even top tier gasolines will not clean out.

Use 1 oz per 6 gallons and after 2-3 tanks, there will be a big difference.....ignition improving, lubricity and detergency.:beerchug:

Good to know Hemi, but I'll try Amsoils Performance Improver first. And i have a bottle of there Octane Boost laying around I normally use for the CR500AF dirt bike in the dunes.

And yes Rich I should change the plugs, since I got the car with 47k on it.

Do you realize that you are using Polyether Amine in your PI?

Polyether Amine produces gum and varnish when burned in the cylinders?

Also petroleum oil with napthlene....which is dry cleaning fluid!

Your PI is oily and so will your octane booster be oily!

You are adding more carbon to your oils by doing this and attacking seals!

Polyeter Amine 30 - 60%
Base Oil(s)* 10 - 30 %
Naphthalene 0.1 - 1%

You may not care because you are an Amsoil Distributor....but your car does!

ACES IV contains octane enhancing, detergency, lubricity, anti-corrosion agents, anti-oxidants, metal deactivators, cold flow improvers, seal conditioners and is much better for your vehicles!! You just need 1 product instead!

Start running chevron gas every 4th tank and throw a bottle of chevron techron fuel system cleaner in there. It'll do the trick.

There is also a fuel injector cleaner in a mettle container, b something. Stuff is very good but you need to burn through it in a few days. Used it to clean some injectors on a high boost motor once. It's in mettle because in a month it'll eat threw plastic. Put in with a fuel tank and run dry.

You still didnt answer if you changed the plugs,its important if they were never changed,Hope the cleaner helps,Good Luck
