i just recently purchased a 2012 charger super bee and the vibes im getting from alot people is tuners and cold air kits are a waste of money on my year model 392. any input would be appreciated.

not from hear, just some people i've talked to locally and some stuff i've read on other sites like utube.also the service manager at a local dodge dealer told me the ecu can't be hacked. just trying to see whats out there that actually works,thats why i'm not taking others opinions as fact.

Diablo Sport broke the PCM (ECU) quite a while ago and tuning is entirely possible and is done here often. In fact they have a specifically designed tune just for your car with a CAI.

I have a 2012 Black Super Bee and I went from running 12.5's in good air on the stock tune to running 12.40-12.39 and a mph higher on a diablo canned tune with the stock airbox, stock tires and exhaust and the same 60ft time. I think getting an CAI kit isn't much help as the stock air box is very efficient. I just recently had my exhaust done and need to get back to the track and see if that improved anything.

thanks for the input,just checking out the diablo web site, damn that tuner sure is pricey,oh well, guess you have to pay to play. lol

How do you like it? drone?
I went with MagnaFlows out to the stock tips with no resonators. I love it its great, the drone is very little. Especially when cruising on the highway

The best tuner IMO is [email protected] over on the http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/ site. He can get you a custom e mail tune and you will never look back. Unleaded vp109 mixed 50/50 with 91 or 93 did wonders on my bone stock 2012 srt8 jeep. All the other bone stock 2012/2014 jeeps in the 1/8 mile were running 8.7/8.8 @ 78/79 mph and i was running 8.2 @ 82/83 mph. Pulling out the stock air cleaner on 91 gas was worth .07 and 2 mph b4 the race gas mix. Dont let anybody tell you stock tunes dont pull timing.
With a custom e mail tune it has to be dialed in properly by data logging. That way your tuner can read the logs on the tune he has sent you and adjust it accordingly along with a list of your mods. In order to do that you need to to data log full 3rd gear pulls and as much of 4th gear as possible if not all. Where in the world on the street will you do that with a 392, I have run mine up to 142 and that was just the end of 3rd just into 4th? The funny thing is with my 08 R/T with a K&N CAI and a canned diablo tune I was running 8.8's in the 1/8 at 82mph, I have the time slips still to prove it.
