I bought some plasti-dip to black out my chrome grill and it worked beautifully and I really like how it turned out. While I had it out and was doing it, I figured "what the hell" I'll just black out the badges on the trunk lid. They turned out great except for the chrome "dodge" going through the tail light. There seems to be some white hazing above the middle "D" and around some areas. It is on the areas where the tape had covered the tail light. I have used just about every cleaner I can get my hands on and nothing has worked so far. Wax took off a little but not much.

Please Help!!

Pics if you want advice!

Also, Brasso is the best plastic polish you can find. I have corrected 40 year old tail lights and 20 year old chalky yellow headlights with it.

Yes, brass polish.

It's an old school trick. Brass is exceptionally soft and quite similar in physical properties to plastic. Follow with wax to keep it looking good. :)
