How does the 2012 police package brakes compare to an RT or SRT ?Wondering if it would be worthwhile to upgrade to Brembos. I know they make a 15 inch 6 caliper front kit but I am not sure about the rears. Any suggestions for a cheaper option than Brembos ?

SRT isn't an option because of wheel fit, and I think the R/T ones are no better. I would consider a 2014 Police Charger (built after April of 2014) because it will have the Big Brake Package (BR9) with the huge 14" Rotors. If you can find one in a salvage yard. Not sure if the 2012 wheels will fit the 2014 brakes though.

Baer offers a kit with 14" rotors and 6-piston calipers. Unlike adapting SRT Brembos to an R/T, the Baer kit is a direct bolt-on to 2014 spindles. The price is about 50% of a new Brembo kit.

I installed a 14" kit on my R/T and performance-wise it is equal to/better than the Bembos I had on my Challenger SRT. And unlike Brembos, the ceramic Corvette pads are nearly dust free.

Could you post more pics of your ride?
Hello!

Wonder if those are the Ace Convex wheels?
Yes they are. 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear. With Nitto Invo tires.

I had been looking at new wheels for awhile and was having difficulty deciding. I came across this photo which made my decision to go with the Convex an easy one.
