I have a 2009 Dodge Charge SE that has been having a fuel system issue that has me scratching my head. The issue is that the fuel gauge will only go up to half tank when the tank is full. It will stay on half tank for quite some time then eventually go down until I run out of fuel. I am also getting a code on the dash of P2068, which is fuel level sensor 'B' High Circuit. I have done alot of research about the issue and I am starting to believe its the fuel sending unit assembly, but I dont want to pay $180 and for it not to fix the issue. Any help is appreciated!

Replace the unit. Make sure the replacement is compatible with that CANBUS. The 08 R/T I just recently parted ways with had to have the pump replaced but the new on wasnt 100% compatible. This resulted in a +/- 5 gallon error on the dash that would fluctuate as I was driving.

The fuel level sensor has likely failed, in many other cars they are connected to the fuel pump mounting assembly.
