Is there a difference between the '09 intake manifold and the one found on older models?

Are the runner lengths any different? Better? Worse?

Also, where do I find out the lb/hr rating on the stock injectors for my RT?

Help me guys! I'm dreaming again!

Seriously?

I've seen a few posts saying that the '09 intake was a better performer but I haven't seen a single thread about a swap.

No one has tried this? It is physically impossible?

The Hemi trucks use a different manifold that is tuned to give a bit more low end grunt. The '09 Hemi trucks feature a variable runner design (similar to the older Neon Magnum intake manifolds) that has a secondary runner that opens up for more low end power, but closes at higher speeds (or vice versa, can't remember right now lol).

Just two sets of runners within the manifold and a divertor valve. It uses the long set for low end and switches to the short set up top. It's pretty seemless..... I don't feel anything anyways.

09 Eagles use SRT ports on the heads. I have read about the manifold swap on LX but I have no idea if it is worthwhile or not.

The 09 LX or Challenger 5.7 "Eagle" intake will fit the 6.1L but not the old style 5.7. Im thinking of putting the composite "Eagle" intake on my SRT8 because the aluminum intake gets to damn hot even with the crappy phenolic spacers. I dont think there is any differance in the intake runners on either SRT or 09 5.7 intake. Just one is composite and the other is aluminum. I was lookinig at both intakes up close and personal Thursday and Friday. I had a "cam in block" engine update class and we took apart the 6.1L, new Eagle 5.7L and the new 8.4L Viper engine.

So the '09 5.7L intake manifold will not bolt up to a '09 5.7L??

I've got a line on a plastic intake out of '09 5.7L Challenger . . .
