My local pick-a-part yard just listed a 2009 Charger on their inventory so I'm hoping to pick over it tomorrow.

I need a bunch of stuff like a hood, visor clips, visors, trim, speakers, rearview mirror, etc.

How much of a 2009 is compatible with the 2008?

I think you're golden on this one dude. If you were in an 06, there are some diffs I believe, but mostly console/tail lights, etc.
