2 Big Shows today
I just wanted to let everyone know there are actually 2 of the bigger car shows on the island today. From 10-5 at Aloha Tower is the build the track show. nd from 2-8 is a classics show (pre-80 vehicles) at Kahala Mall outside Longs. I'm not in either show (didn't make the deadline to enter before they were full), but will be a spectator at both. Actually, I heard there's a stragglers line at 9 to get into the Aloha tower show if there is room, so I might try that... Also, next week there is a cruise at Taco Del Mar in Hawaii Kai. The following weekend are the July 4th shows. I'll be in the Pearl Harbor show.

Pretty good. There are fewer cars than a lot of the other shows, but there are a LOT more people than the other shows. It's different in that the other shows/cruises are mostly 'car guys', where this show was families. Get some pretty interesting reactions from people that haven't seen the car before.

It looks like it was vapor locked. After my $75 tow and the tow truck driver taking a bunch of pics of the car, the car started right up. But when I went to check everything out, I broke the fuel pump permanently and mmy backup pump I had seized on me the day after the 4th of uly's show. So now the car is down until I can afford a true fuel system setup vice th 'jerry-rigged' setup I had...glad you made it to the show!
