Lately I’ve been noticing when stopped at a red light or stop sign my engine is idling low, around 450-500 rpms. It idles normally at 700, especially with a load on the engine like the AC. With no load and after rolling to a stop it’s barely maintains 500. If I gently tap the throttle pedal the rpms instantaneously drop even lower then it recovers to 700.

Any ideas?

As far as I know, it's normal for idle to be higher when the transmission is in park than when it's in drive. In almost every car I've ever owned, that's been the case.

Just for giggles, I would have the battery load tested. If you are still under the 3/36 warranty, would not hurt to let the dealer check/document the issue in case something would develop later. Beyond that, I would monitor and continue to enjoy those 485 hp.
