I bought a charger with the daytona package and never really looked much into what the package had in it. I was talking to a friend of mine and he mentioned that my rims are not the daytona package rims. I did a bit of looking around and saw that the daytona package cars seem to come with these really nice 5 spoke 20 inch rims that are painted. The seem to be the nice and shiny with the black inserts on the sides. Mine however are not those rims. I have the chrome or polished 20 inch 5 spoke rims. I have two pics to compare and ask if i got something wrong here. My charger is black so i assumed they used the all chrome looking rims but a lot of these other chargers in all colors have the two tone rims. Did someone screw up my order or worse, did the dealership "misplace" my rims before i got the car?

Here's what the 2013 Daytona rims should look like:

They have polished spoke faces and glossy black pockets.

That's what I thought. I was able to dig around the garage and find my window sticker. Surprisingly, I saw that I have the $2500 Daytona Package with those rims. Then the next two lines I have, $840 for a sunroof and then $495 for 20-inch x 8.0-inch Polished Aluminum Classic Wheels. I guess someone at the dealer ordered the other rims over the Daytona package rims. I have no idea why anyone would do this but i got the car so cheap i never asked till now. Guess I need to sell my rims and get the real daytona rims lol

Well, only if you don't like the rims you have. The base Daytona package had those wheels but your package was upgraded to include different wheels. Which ones you want is up to you...but the wheels you have don't make it any less of a Daytona package. It's legit just as it is.

1st pic are classic rims, which were ordered with the package you mentioned in the window sticker. I'm assuming it's a used car? If so, original owner probably preferred the classic look. I prefer the painted ones!

IIRC the classic II rims are forged so why not keep them. If you don't like chrome get them powder coated.

Are the stock daytona rims from that year chrome clad or just painted aluminum? I don't like the chrome clads its just not my thing.

The classic II style is nice and it came on the kissing cousin of the Daytona the R/T R&T.

No, it was an option on the R&T too. My R&T came stock with the regular chrome clads.
