sounds like we are putting our brother down here. to each his own. to answer your question, about 9 sec. 0-60 18 or so sec. in the 1/4 mile. its your car and if you like it, then thats all that matters. I can afford a srt if i wanted, but I am not paying a note on a car that is a loss once its driven off the lot. 3.5 for me.

9.0 seconds is too optimistic. Consumer Reports reported 8.2 for the 3.5L which has 60 more HP.
I would say 10-10.5 seconds to 60.

those consumer reports are never correct. the 3.5 can hit 60 in 7.7-7.9
I would say consumer reports is a more realistic figure than Car and Driver.
They just floor the pedal instead of brake torque like C & D which has reported as low as 7.3 seconds with a 4 speed 300.

Consumer Reports says 6.0 seconds for the R/T.

My belltech computer shows closer to 7.5 for the 3.5L autos.com rates the 2.7 0-60 at 8.3 sec. I think that is a bit low, they also rate the 3.5L at 7.1, which I know is low. I would say the 2.7L is probably around 9 sec. , but that is not bad considering you have a big car that gets good milage and has reasonable torque.

how did you time your 0-60? stopwatch doesn't count, you can be off by a good second or two. If you did this with a dashhawk or some other performance monitoring gadget, please upload your 0-60 log.

Well guys I've gotten my 2.7 to do the 60 at 6.8secs. I have a hi-po chip and ram air intake on it.
I am impressed, that is very fast for the 2.7L What other mods do you have? How did you time it?
